U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack

The United States Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack will visit the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to speak about the role of public research universities in addressing international food security.

Hosted by the International Food Security at Illinois (IFSI) initiative and the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, Vilsack will speak at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center, 601 South Lincoln Avenue, in Urbana. A reception will follow.
