Overview
The Sustainable Student Farm grows 40-50 vegetable and fruit crops on six acres on South Lincoln in Urbana. Student workers and volunteers plant, cultivate and harvest produce using low input and organic practices.
The SSF mission is to serve as an accessible living laboratory for small, diversified farm education and training. We seek to empower students to engage in thoughtful, sustainable, and innovative agricultural practices through outreach, demonstrations, and research.
