Conspiracy, Misinformation, and the Infodemic

I had originally planned a different message for today’s This Week in Illinois Research, but then I received a note from May Berenbaum calling my attention to two upcoming talks at the Center for Advanced Study. These two events are so timely—and tie perfectly into our plans for the upcoming Research Summit on April 11—that I decided to use this space to highlight what will certainly be thought-provoking discussions:

CAS Professors will serve as panelists/interlocutors for both events.

The talks are part of the Center’s excellent Conspiracy, Misinformation and the Infodemic series, topics that affect every one of us as members of the Illinois research community and citizens of this country. So, I’ll save my message related to new proceedings from the National Academies’ Endless Frontier 2022 Symposium for another time, and suggest that you make plans now to join the conversations on March 22 and April 12 if you are able to do so!

Sincerely,

Susan
