USDA NIFA Funds ‘Farm of the Future’

The University will become home to the nation’s first and only “Farm of the Future,” with a recent USDA-NIFA announcement of a ~$4M award. I-FARM, an 80-acre agricultural testbed for commodity crops and livestock, will test ag-tech innovations, at scale, that will power more profitable, productive farms—across the Midwest and beyond.
