Research Support Awards - Eligibility
Research Support Awards are the main type of support provided by the Campus Research Board. Applications may be submitted electronically for any of the deadline dates by:
- Full-time Illinois faculty members
- Full-time academic professionals
- Research Scholars appointed by the Campus Research Board (limited support only – see information provided under the Research Scholars’ Program)
Employees ineligible for application to the Campus Research Board include:
- Visiting appointments
- Zero percent appointments
- Adjunct positions
- Partial appointments
- Non-Illinois campus employees
- Postdoctoral appointments
- Emeritus faculty
