Humanities Released Time Program
The Campus Research Board offers support for released time to humanities faculty to conduct specific research projects for which their own concentrated effort is the resource most urgently needed. With this support the recipient is released from a portion of his or her teaching duties for an appropriate period, usually one semester, and is replaced by a teaching assistant or other qualified instructor to be arranged with the departmental executive officer.
